Creamy Mushrooms
Creamy mushrooms
Serve warm with mamaliga (polenta) or other side dish
Serves 4
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 pound of mushrooms, trimmed and thickly sliced
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 1 bay leave
- 3 whole cloves minced
- 1 table spoon flour
Melt butter in a saucepan and toss the mushrooms in it to coat them. Season lightly with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 10min. Dust the mushrooms with flour, mix. Pour the sour cream mixed with water and minced garlic. Cover and simmer for 5 more min.
