French Toast
- 12 slices (1/2 inch/1 cm thick) or baguette
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter or oil
- salt
Beat the egg, add the milk and a little salt. Moisten the bread slices and fry on both sides in hot oil or butter. Serve with sauté, green peas with butter, or any blanched vegetables.
